Republicans battle it out in Michigan

Politico.com reports Mitt Romney has won the Michigan GOP primary, throwing Republican contest into further disarray, and Hillary Rodham Clinton wins an essentially uncontested race for the Democrats. Read More HERE. Politico.com also reports former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney snatched his first victory in a big primary as his Michigan Republicans turned out for him. Romney, a favorite son who hails from the state and whose father was once its governor, was seeking a boost after coming in second in Iowa and New Hampshire. (He won in tiny Wyoming, a state where few of his opponents bothered to campaign.) Sen. John McCain trailed him by about five percentage points with a handful of precincts reporting.
