Clinton/Obama Defend Robert Bird/KKK Ties
Why is it that Bill Clinton and President Barack Obama are getting a pass for and giving a pass to the late Senator birds recruitment history with the KKK?
Yes, I'm raising the question on my BlogTalkRadio program tonight. Check out how Bill Clinton excuses his so-called "fleeting association"with the Ku Klux Klan."
AAPP: Now I wonder if Bill Clinton would say that if it were a "fleeting association"with the Nazi's? A bet you the Jewish community would be pissed if he said that about a U.S. Senator that recruited for the Nazi's.
I consider the Senator from West Virginia, akin to a soldier in the SS. Blacks and other Americans should have treated him like Adolf Storms, who had been high on the list of suspected Nazi criminals.
Instead of helping elect him to high office, American prosecutors should have investigated and prepared to bring him to trial for the violation of constitutional rights of blacks in West Virginia. The Federal government should have built a strong and significant case against him, not only for the hangings, executions and murders of black folks by the KKK in West Virginia when bird served as a recruiter for the KKK.
There is no"fleeting association"with the Ku Klux Klan as Bill Clinton is trying to make it out to be. Why is there such a double standard?
AAPP says, So, He once had a fleeting association with the Ku Klux Klan... No Mr. bigoted former President of the United States, Bill Clinton. He (Bird) didnot have a fleeting association with the Ku Klux Klan, he was a recruiter for this hateful, violent group. Get your history straight! The facts are Byrd joined the KKK in 1942 and was elected leader of his local chapter. Byrd later claimed to have become "disinterested" after about a year. Byrd vigorously opposed the integration of the military, and wrote in 1946 that the KKK was "needed today as never before."
There's more... Check out the video on what President Obama says about the KKK Past of Byrd. Damn, the first black President excusing a KKK recruiter, who may have been responsible for many deaths and hangings of innocent black women, children and men in West Virginia? I guess America loves making excuses for former Klan members now.
Let's talk about these and other political issues tonight on the slugfest, "If you can handle the truth."
I guess Obama and others will name buildings, bridges and other Washington monuments for the former KKK recruiter. It won't be the first time... I was hoping it would be the last.
