AAPP: I'm with James Clyburn, the House of Representatives majority whip who said: "At some point, she needs to congratulate the man for having won. Those kinds of things are important to us who grew up in the South with these kinds of slights. That speech cannot be seen as anything but a slight."
AAPP: Candidly, both Hillary and Bill Clinton have alienated black voters and other Obama supporters with their continued attacks on his character, race and cultural background. It would be a mistake to have Clinton or her husband to be back in the White House. This Independent swing voter would not vote for a Obama-Hillary Ticket.

Well with all due respect you are an idiot. LOok I despise the Clinton's as much as the next person. Do I want to see her as VP? Hell no. But I'm not going to sit by and let John McCain screw everyone - most of all african americans - by continuing Bush's policies. Grow the fuck up. It's not about you. It's about the country.
Well with all due respect anonymous MYDD'er you seem to be the one that is an idiot.
You write, "I despise the Clinton's as much as the next person. Do I want to see her as VP? Hell no. But I'm not going to sit by and let John McCain screw everyone - most of all african americans - by continuing Bush's policies."
No Mr. or Ms. Grow the F up. You have it twisted. It's about me and "my vote."
I'm not voting for Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton being one heart beat from the presidency. That would be like voting for John McCain.
I'd rather vote Green Party.
Now who should grow the F up. My vote goes anywhere I want it to go. I don't line up to your "politically correct" way of thinking. That's called, um, Democracy. Something you seem not to understand.
The same forces supported both Obama and Clinton. Obama and Clinton have the same policies. What's the difference?
CP said: The same forces supported both Obama and Clinton.
No, CP, Black folks did not support Hillary. Still don't now. Get the facts straight.
As someone who has said the same thing several times during the primary, I respectfully disagree now. The Clintons did some despicable things this primary season, but a potential Hillary Clinton presidency would be infinintely preferable to McCain for pretty much everyone.
It's the difference between withdrawal from Iraq and continuing to destroy our military, prestige, and economy there. It's the difference between fixing the healthcare system or letting it get more expensive and shitty. It's your vote, of course, but setting aside emotion it's clear that for millions of people the difference between a Clinton and McCain presidency would be very real indeed.
"I'm not voting for Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton being one heart beat from the presidency. That would be like voting for John McCain."
Actually, it would be like Lincoln putting John Wilkes Booth on the ticket.

I agree with you on one point. You can vote for whomever you want, but what would be the sense in voting for a party that has no members in the house or senate? It would be great if we had a third party I'd vote for them as well if only to keep the other two in line. But unfortunately we don't.
Luckily I don't think Hillary is after the VP spot. I think she's holding out to get her debts paid off before the senate race. She can't carry that debt to the senate race by the campaign rules.
I can see the ad's now showing her saying that this 'unelectable" person is now not only electable, but I'm behind him. She is not a good choice for him, well only if he wants a food tester and body double.
So you will sit by and allow McCain to get more votes? Didn't you learn anything from Nader in 2000 when Gore lost Florida by a few hundred votes therefore the nation? Don't you see how McCain is the worse of the 2? Tell me why McCain and whomever he chooses as VP deserve to be in charge because when people say they are not voting or voting doesn't matter or they will not vote for this person....they are saying the OTHER person McCain in this case should be President. Don't you see this as a political fight for America's life and breath? Didn't you see Kucinich read ALL 35 Articles of Impeachment on CSPAN on 6/9/08? the Articles of Impeachment for Clinton were 1 page...the Articles of Impeachment for Bush are a ream of paper and those are solid reasons. Democrats had Nixon with avoiding taxes on top of everything else he did but the Democrats said tax evasion did not affect the Republic so that felony was not worked into the Articles of Impeachment for Nixon. This is similar to what we have against Bush in that his charges ALL are aimed against the Republic. Obama says he will go forward with an investigation into Impeachment if elected. Isn't this ENOUGH of a reason to vote for Obama? when will the treasonous actions of Presidents be stopped (Reagan with the Iran Contra drug running funds) and the Presidency reminded they are but one of 3 equal legs of our government. Why don't you want that to happen?
When you say you wont vote for the lesser of evil you are voting FOR the greater of evil. Obama and Clinton are FARRRRRRRRR from perfect but I will happily vote for either for President because they are the lesser of evils of what we have to choose.
You do not see it the same way? How can you NOT see it that way? 77% of the nation sees it that was with 23% of the nation supporting the Bush NeoCon plan that McCain will empower even more.
Why do you want McCain to be President?
