New Orleans: My thought of the day

There have been many people within our communities and outside of our communities wondering where is the new Martin Luther King?

Unfortunately, Martin Luther King has been gone for many years, But there are Black Men, Black Women and Black Youth across America fighting the good fight against racial injustice, class injustice, and 21st century hatred. No there will never be another Martin Luther King, Jr., but there will always be black Americans who will follow the teachings of one of the greatest American's of the 20th Century, Dr. Martin Luther King , Jr., who's words guide us today:

"An individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for the law."

- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
