Washington Bound

OK, live about 45 -1 hour away from D.C.

I'm joining a group of bloggers from the New Organizing Institute this weekend for a bloggers summit in Washington, DC. A number of Afrospear and other black bloggers, are going to attend as well. They include, The Field Negro, Gabriel, from the Color of Change.org, Oliver - Like Kryptonite To Stupid - Willis, Brandon Q. White, The Super Spade, Baratunde Thurston, from Jack & Jill Politics, Pam Spaulding from Pam's House Blend, and Faye Anderson from the blog, Anderson@Large and many others.

I have to give it to the New Organizing institute. Unlike some groups like the DailyK... and Netroots, they have aggressively made attempts to be inclusive and outreach into the black blogger community. So if your in the area, stop in. like The field Negro and others, I will be reporting on the summit.
