Bill Clinton Waits 3 weeks To Support Obama
Check this out, not only has it taken 3 weeks for him to show public support he said it through a spokesman. As reported by CBS and Asociated Press (AP) former President Clinton said through a spokesman Tuesday that he is committed to helping Barack Obama become president, his first comments in support of his wife's former rival since their primary ended three weeks ago.
AAPP: whatever Bill! Keep your one sentence endorsement to yourself. oops, did I just say that?
AP reports, relations between the last Democratic president and the candidate who wants to be the next one are still frosty - they still haven't spoken in the aftermath of the heated campaign. But Bill Clinton extended an offer to help in a one-sentence statement from spokesman Matt McKenna. "President Clinton is obviously committed to doing whatever he can and is asked to do to ensure Senator Obama is the next president of the United States," McKenna said. It's not clear what Obama might ask him to do. The campaign wasn't specific when asked. "A unified Democratic Party is going to be a powerful force for change this year and we're confident President Clinton will play a big role in that," said Obama spokesman Bill Burton. More HERE

AAPP,
You are a bad pundit! :-)
Mentioning that Bubba..oops, I mean Bill might be a little salty about Barack being the one who now leads the party.
I am trying to follow the example of Barack's outward expression of political get along-so-we-can-win style towards the Clinton's. So this is what I think about Bill's slow to respond actions.
No matter what the public thinks of Hillary Clinton as a candidate. That is his wife. They had made plans for her to be the first woman to run for the POTUS.
It didn't work out quite as they had hoped that it would. I'm sure that Bill and Hillary's feelings and ego were bruised and bloody.
We know that it is difficult to adjust to being the underdog. Especially when you were considered to be the leading Demmie in the land.
Even if that is in your own mind. Ooops! Did I say that?
Plus that Billy has to earn marks in that column marked: Campaigns nicely for the actual nominee.
That is a lot to ask of Bill and Hillary. And they needed time to get it straight in their heads that Barack is the one who is heading the ticket. I'm sure that they needed to rest and re-group. Dirty work takes a lot out of your psyche. Especially when it didn't yield the proper results.
It will be interesting to watch as they move about the country. Bill will have to actually curb his remarks and temper.Hillary will not be able to whine about how unfair the nation is to her as a woman. They will have to present a pro-Obama line. And step to the rhythm of his direction. Least it appear that he is trying to sabotage Barack's bid.
Mslady: I agree. It's tough losing not only the chance to get back into the White House, but the democratic party. Barack, not Bill, now runs the democratic party and will soon run the White House. Specifically, Bill is miffed because he thinks Barack ran against his presidency. But this is something they can get beyond. After all, Bill, Hillary and Barack are centrist politicians. Besides, Barack is going to help Bill's wife pay off her 22 million debt.
Lol, yeah Clinton's "endorsement" wasn't really an endorsement. I truly believe he doesn't like Barack, and that's understandable since Barack beat the Clinton dynasty. I don't think Barack should have Bill out there, simply because Bill's support probably won't ever be genuine.
