WaPo reports: Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney ended his presidential campaign today after a series of recent losses in key states including Florida and California, bowing to the near inevitability of Sen. John McCain as the Republican standard-bearer this November.
He revealed his decision during a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C.
