Do you really think that Barack and Michelle were not aware of what lies ahead?
We are going to have to deal with this issue too. Not just as black bloggers~we are either going to PUSH like we need to for a time such as this~or be PUSHED BACK EVEN FUTHER!
It would be hard for me to believe with the type of ethnic background that Obama comes from that he is prepared to handle his business.
I am from a similiar family grouping myself-it will make you get some for real backbone about yourself. You learn that prejudice and stupidity flows freely within the public sector.
Obama has had to deal with dual racist attitudes. Did people forget that Jean Toomer wrote a story about a white woman named Becky who had two black sons. Her family was torn about by tragedy. No one in the community black or white helped her during hard times.
The swift boating has been going on. It is just up another notch.
My concern is how well prepared we are as a people to handle what it is bringing to the forefront of our national society?
They are going to mount a counter attack! It would be too much of character for the opposition not to do so.
The fear of a Black Planet is not just the name of a rap. It is a real mental entity.
So what are we going to do to counter their efforts.
I believe that Obama handled himself very well concerning race and the topic of racial reality in these United States.
Are we going to produce our version of schock and awe?

Sean Hannity has already referred to Obama as a racist and anti-Semite because of his association with Wright. What! I hope this backfires on the far right.
